Ali Allami, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Computer Science, University of Misan
Ali Allami works on secure multi-party computation, privacy-preserving machine learning, and secure data analysis. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2021 with a thesis on efficient secure comparison in the dishonest-majority model, and was a postdoctoral researcher at Vanderbilt University's Institute for Software Integrated Systems (2023–2025), where he co-led projects on private reinforcement learning, federated learning, and oblivious firewalls. Before that he directed graduate studies at the University of Misan and taught across three colleges.
He serves on the editorial board of Frontiers in Big Data, reviews for IEEE TDSC, ACM TOPS, IEEE TETC, and IEEE ITSC, and gave the keynote at the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Computer Applications in 2023.
