Work with us
OBLIV Lab is a virtual, collaboration-driven research group led by Dr. Ali Allami. Members and partners work remotely with institutions around the world. Here is how different people usually get involved.
Academic collaborators
We are seeking partners — particularly in the United States, Canada, and Australia — for joint papers, co-supervision of students, and joint funding proposals. We bring deep MPC expertise, fast protocol implementation, and a track record of student-led publications.
Email a short note about your project and what you'd like to build together.
Prospective Ph.D. students
We currently have no funded positions, but Dr. Allami is open to supervising self-funded or scholarship-holding students, and to co-supervision arrangements with partner universities.
Strong background in algorithms, cryptography, or machine learning, and comfort writing code, is expected. Send a CV, transcript, and a paragraph on a paper of ours you found interesting.
Consulting and R&D
Dr. Allami is available for advisory and research-and-development engagements on privacy-preserving analytics, secure payments, federated learning, and confidential AI deployments.
Typical engagements: threat modelling, protocol design, prototype implementation, and independent review of privacy claims.
